SCHOOL OUTREACH HEALTH PROGRAMME

The continuation commenced with lectures and practical discussions on “Mental Health and Substance Abuse”

The purpose and objective of the first meeting with the young people which was to be a general introduction to the concept of Mental Health were greatly achieved after a short pretest was conducted for the students on the ground to assess their level of knowledge on the topic.

It was an interactive and engaging session with the young people. There was a question and answer session  where students asked questions concerning things that were unclear to them based on what they have been taught.

We are happy and proud to say that the session that witnessed a total number of 29 young persons of JSS 1 – 3 was a successful one and we look forward to more of such engagements with the young people of Ota Public schools as the programme is set to continue next week, all other things being equal.
