WE ARE BACK!
It is a new year and a new dawn and so is it for us at PAANEAH FOUNDATION. After a long time of silence caused by the unprecedented COVID ’19 pandemic effects on programmes and businesses across board, the world is gradually recovering and returning to form. So also is PAANEAH FOUNDATION, Ota.
Earlier in the week, precisely on the 17th of January 2022 after a day of outreach to the youths and adolescents of the Oluwalose Community of Olosun Quarters, we successfully started our FREE ENGLISH AND MATHEMATICS classes for public secondary school students in the community.
The FREE TUTORIAL is one of our activities designed to reach and help the youths of the community where we are situated. In line with our mission, it is to catalyze, promote and support the development and well-being of young people, particularly the most vulnerable groups so they can attain excellence in every dimension of life.
The first class witnessed a total number of sixteen students from different junior and senior public schools such as Iganmode Grammar School, Ansar-U-Deen Comprehensive and Anglican Grammar School. As of the time of this report and just within a week of starting, we have a total of twenty-five students benefiting from our after school ENGLISH AND MATHEMATICS tutorial.
When asked to describe the first-day experience at PAANEAH FOUNDATION FREE LESSON, a female participant said “It was so fun. There has not been a free lesson in any of our streets. It is a great chance for us who are in the street. We find it as an opportunity in the community”
Despite that this is a continuation of our existing programmes, we believe it is the beginning of a new era to positively impact and transform lives further.
