Youth of Excellence Strides (YES) Award 2018
Our Inaugural Annual “Youth of Excellence Strides” (YES) Awards to best Science and Arts students in West African Examination Council (WAEC) and Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) held on December 5th, 2018.
The YES Award programme is designed to encourage and improve the educational experiences of young people in Ota.
Approval to receive best 2017 WAEC and BECE results from public secondary schools in Ado-Odo Ota was obtained from Ogun State Ministry of Education. Upon receipt of the results, they were put through objective analysis by an academic professional at the Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
In attendance at the occasion were dignitaries of importance; the Olota of Ota Land, Professor Abdulkabir Obalanlege and her Royal majesty, Paaneah Foundation youth members, students and teachers from Public secondary schools, Parents/guardians and other stakeholders from and out of Ogun state.
